Avery's baptism

These two girls are too cute!!!  If I were on the ball, I have a printed picture from eight years ago where they are laying side by side on a blanket on the ground.  Nicole is about eight weeks old and Avery is about 7 weeks.  They are two great little friends who will have many amazing stories to share.

Their baptism was a fabulous day.  They were the only two from our ward to be baptized.  Their baptism was the same day as the Stake mini trek.  Aurora and I took off very early that morning and hiked half the trek.  Aurora and I left with Ashlee when we were at lunch, came home changed and took off with the family to the Stake Center for the baptisms.  Grandma and Grandpa Jensen were able to come at the last minute.  It was really nice to have them there!  Kayla, Nicole's sister, gave a great talk on baptism.  Avery was quite nervous about the baptism process.  She flew through it! Beth gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost, Don helped by leading the music and my sister Laura played the piano.  Aurora and I played Love is Spoken here as duet together.  These pictures are right after outside the church.

I love the expression on Nicole's face in the last two pictures!

Their baptism started at two in the afternoon, which is right during Cooper's nap.  This is his really tired face in his carseat on the way home.

Max is another friend Avery has had since she was born.  I love her looking at Max here.   Rachel and Max came up from Salem for the afternoon for Avery's baptism.  They have had so many funny, fun, great and mischievous times together.  Their two imaginations together are limitless.

As Avery is not much of a dress lover, she changed her clothes promptly when we got home! We ordered Baja Fresh, hung out, talked and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon.

Avery looked so pretty in her baptism dress. She looks really good in that bight white! What a good day for her!
